A pure sherry cask. This Limited Release was finished in a beautiful Australian 300L premium Pedro Ximnez sherry cask from Dutchske Wines in the Barossa after initial maturation in rare Australian McWilliams Apera sherry casks.

Nose – Spiced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, plenty of brown sugar and dates, made into a thick resinous jam and poured onto a hot apple pie.

Palate – There is such depth to this whisky. The initial heat of a higher strength whisky gives way to a massively oily and rich decadent spirit. The age of the PX at 21yrs old comes through. Add some homemade custard to that nose.

Finish – Long lasting finish of dates and raisins.
