Introduction

The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old is a balanced single malt whisky created by bringing the perfect harmony of two oaks into one exceptional single malt whisky. European and American Oak, sherry seasoned in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, delivering a whisky with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.

Nose – Dried fruits and toffee with rich candied citrus peel, ginger with hints of nutmeg.

Palate – Rich raisin, sultana and dried apricot with notes of treacle toffee, vanilla and ginger balanced with toasted wood spice and baked apple.

Finish – Lingering warm oak and citrus.
