Introduction

Gordon & Macphail’s Connoisseurs Choice is an ever-changing collection of unique perspectives on distilleries own bottlings, non-chill-filtered single cask and small batch expressions bottled at cask strength exceptional one-offs.

Matured in refill bourbon barrel. Bottled in 2021. Only 518 bottles released.

Nose – Sweet aromas of butterscotch and vanilla combine with dried red apple and walnut. Subtle notes of lemon and lime develop alongside toasted oak.

Palate – Flavours of white pepper are followed by hints of lychee and crystalised violets. Sweet and citrus notes of lemon sherbet intertwine with a hint of oak.

Finish – A medium-bodied finish with soft floral notes.
