This marriage of 30% American Oak ex-bourbon and 70% American Oak Cabernet casks is a unique and exciting combination. The Clare Valley wines from South Australia are renowned for their bold, elegant flavors. These casks have been shaved, toasted and re-charred.

On the palate, it’s a delightful mix of vanilla fudge, lemon drizzle cake, and candied orange-peel, followed by stewed plums, cinnamon, fig jam, praline, cream-butter pastry, and vanilla custard. The finish is a delightful mix of dark cocoa, mocha, and a lingering rum and raisin flavor. This truly is the best of both the North and the Deep South.
