Plantation Fiji 2001 Rum 700ml (ABV 46%)

Introduction

Plantation Fiji 2001, distilled in pot still. Matured 19 years in bourbon casks, then 1 year in Ferrand casks. Finish with 4 months in Rozelieures single malt whisky cask.

Nose – Very intense, it starts with custard and banana flamb, followed by aromas of peach, hazelnut and quince with some seaweed. It then evolves into marzipan and orange.

Palate – Very tropical, gently smoky and fresh, mostly on passion fruit and citrus with tons of vanilla and fresh herbal notes, like mint and eucalyptus. Mineral on charcoal.
