Introduction

Matured in a 100 litre, American oak ex-bourbon cask, this expression offers a deeper layer of complexity than previous Overeem bourbon cask matured releases due to the heavy toast and char cask treatment throughout the coopering process. Think light summer fruits, summer barbeques with charred meats and toasty campfires.

Nose – Bright, fresh and vibrant with coconut, bananas and molasses, with hints of vanilla, caramel and a nutty edge.

Palate – Coconut and pineapple upfront, with burnt vanilla and citrus, caramelised banana, marshmallows, charred meats and toasted oak.

Finish – Toffee apple, charred oak and mouthwatering, light spice and coconut, medium length.
