Introduction

The Orient StarRE-DA0001L00A is a very special watch. To start, the watch itself. It’s an Orient Star, so the case, movement and finishing are superb. The movement, the Orient in-house 40R54, hacks, can be hand wound, has a power reserve indicator at 12 and an ‘open heart’ at 9. Through this opening in the beautiful dial (protected by sapphire glass with an AR coating) you can view the running automatic movement. Speaking of the dial, it’s one of the most spectacular dials you can find with a gorgeous mix of deep blue and green accents and diagonal lines.
On the back of the watch you’ll find a viewing window, through which you’ll be able to see the back of the movement. Also on the caseback is the unique serial number of the watch, as it’s limited to just 1000 pieces worldwide.
