Introduction

Smooth and buttery, Limeburners Sherry Cask Strength has been bottled straight from the barrel at full strength for bold Sherry characteristics and a textural finish. This is whisky as it sits in the cask and is bottled as single cask expressions.

Distilled with care in traditional small-batch copper pot stills, Sherry Cask Strength is a serious whisky connoisseurs delight and made to savour. This classic Limeburners expression has spent time in ex-bourbon American oak before maturing further in an Australian Sherry cask, allowing it to develop notes of buttery caramel, dried apricot and almond croissant.

Each barrel will exhibit its own unique characteristics, creating slight variation from expression to expression.

Nose – Caramelised lemon tart, honey, white chocolate, golden raisins, hints of oak

Palate – Stewed pear, honeycomb dipped in milk chocolate, toasted oak, dried apricot, almond croissant, vanilla bean

Finish – Smooth, creamy, slivered almond and allspice
