Lark Double Tawny Single Malt Whisky 500ml (ABV 46%)

Introduction

Lark Head Distiller Chris Thomson has takenthe Tawny-dominatedClassic Cask and finished it in a single Australian Tawny cask, selectedfrom Seppeltsfield Winery in the Barossa Valley. The result is a familiarTasmanian single malt that quickly develops into a Tawny explosion ofraspberry and blackberry, perfectly balanced with creamy caramel anda light dusting of cinnamon.

Nose –Aromas of rich tawny and dark chocolate mingle with warm, homemade apple and blackcurrant crumble. Notes of old oak, leather-bound books and toffee follow.

Palate –Creamy vanilla custard with a touch of candied orange peel, followed by more rich toffee and oak.

Finish –The finish transitions from heavy notes of rich, dark fruit to airy remnants of oak and smoke, with a light dusting of cinnamon.
