Hidden Lake French Oak Tawny Single Cask Single Malt Whisky 700ml (ABV 46.3%)

Introduction

This French Oak Tawny, 7 year old is a limited release of single cask single malt. It has a crisp open that slowly unfolds upon the palate to reveal a decidedly warm and oily finish. Incredibly layered with notes of oak, oats, stewed plum, white wine and subtle savoury hints.

This expression rewards the palate by finally revealing a leathery tobacco leaf finish.

Nose – Light notes of antique oak and toasted oats, layered with the richness of stewed plums.

Palate – Rich dessert wine notes lead through to a more savoury style, with leather and tobacco leaf adding massive complexity.

Finish – Lots of oil, with a lingering flavour.
