Introduction

Starting from the end of the 1990s, G-SHOCK and BABY-G have been issuing special models in collaboration with and in support of different environmental organizations. In 2021 G-SHOCK and BABY-G continue to endorse and support AQUA PLANET, an NPO that works towards protecting coral reefs.
This fourth collaboration with AQUA PLANET, features a gorgeous floral sun coral as a motif in bright coral orange for the band and case. A gradation-colored dial was also designed in the image of sun coral. This model’s gorgeous and energetic colors are the perfect match for the ocean and the summer sky. At 9 o’clock on the face is an image of a Kanzashi hermit crab hiding in coral, and the AQUA PLANET logo appears on the band along with the text “Love The Sea And The Earth”.
This watch comes in an environment-friendly package that does not use any resin material, contributing to creating a more sustainable society. All plastic materials have been eliminated from the box, and recycled paper is used for the paper box. In addition, a 100% cotton drawstring bag that can be used as a pouch is also provided.
All of this makes this model perfect for summer fun on the seashore.

AQUA PLANET
AQUA PLANET is an organization that conducts activities aimed at protecting coral reefs, under the guidance of its chairperson, actress Ritsuko Tanaka. Ms. Tanaka loves the seas of Okinawa, and she is currently serving as Okinawa Churaumi Ambassador, Kume Island Tourist Ambassador, Ishigaki Coral Ambassador, and in other posts. She is particularly active in coral preservation and regeneration activities, as well as collaboration activities, including coral transplantation and the Ishigaki coral cultivation on the main island of Okinawa.
