Introduction

We think the Claude Bernard 01506 3 NIN is one of the nicest Claude Bernard watches in our collection. It has a fascinating quartz movement with retrograde and chronograph functions. Especially the retrograde function is one which you don’t see on too many watches, so there is a unique element to this watch. It translates to ‘come back’, which means the seconds hand on this watch doesn’t go in a circle, but in a half (180 degree) circle. It goes from 0 to 60 and then jumps back to 0.

This watch is a ‘B-stock’ item.It was either returned to us in less than perfect condition or used as a display model or just can’t be sold as a 100% brand new model. It does still come with the full 2 year warranty. We use a rating that ranks from 1/5 to 5/5, where 1/5 is a very minor blemish and 5/5 extensive wear. The pictures used are of the actual watch.

B-stock reason: Scratches across the case and caseback. Sticker residue left on caseback which is tricky to remove without damaging the watch. After testing, our watchmaker discovered that the watch is also no longer fully waterproof.
