Introduction

Bozal present mezcales from different Maestros Mezcaleros of remote villages of Oaxaca, Guerrero and Durango. These varietals produce flavors that are exotically intense, with rich earth tones and savory smokiness.

Sacatoro agave takes about eight to twelve years to mature and is harvested from the hillsides of Guerrero. Unique in itself, the characteristics of this agave showcase the aromas of wet earth, a rich smokiness on the mid-palate, and a finish reminiscent of wild flowers.

Tasting notes – Green vegetal notes on the nose are well balanced with fresh-cut grass, refreshing key lime, cucumber, and citrus. Similar on the palate, vegetal grassiness, honeydew, green pepper, and peppercorns shine through. The finish is lasting with a brined salinity and effervescence.
