Ballechin 15YO Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml (ABV 58%)

Introduction

Distilled using barley which has been infused with peat to a level not less than 50ppm.

This bottling is a Limited Edition of 3,520 bottles from a vatting of first fill Bourbon barrels and Second fill Oloroso sherry butts. This is a Cask Strength bottling at 58.9%, without chill filtration, to retain the true cask character. Natural colour.

Nose – Leather and tobacco notes with orchard fruit sweetness and plenty of ashy smoke.

Palate – Big bold notes of ashy smoke, honey sweetness and ripe orchard fruits with hints of dark fruits and toasted nuts.

Finish – Long and smoky with milk chocolate, dark fruits and balanced oak.
