Armorik Pineau Des Charentes Single Malt Whisky 700ml (ABV 58.7%)

Introduction

This Single Malt is a limited edition exclusively for the Australian market. Produced from organic Breton barley and matured in a Pineau des Charentes cask acquired from the Rmi Landier cognac house, it has been distilled in October 2015 and has rested for more than 7 long years in the Breton warehouses. Pineau des Charentes is a fortified wine (mistelle or vin de liqueur), made from either fresh, unfermented grape juice or a blend of lightly fermented grape must, to which a Cognac eau-de-vie is added and then matured. Bottled at 58.7% cask strength in February 2023, it is limited to 150 bottles.

Nose – Notes of red grapes, blueberries, and peaches, layered with nuances of raisins and figs.

Palate – Bold, oily, and luxurious, with a delightful peppery spiciness and flavors of fresh fruits, figs, and raisin bread.

Finish – Long and velvety, leaving behind subtle spices and fruity nuances.
