Introduction

Gordon & Macphail’s Connoisseurs Choice is an ever-changing collection of unique perspectives on distilleries own bottlings, non-chill-filtered single cask and small batch expressions bottled at cask strength exceptional one-offs.

Matured in refill Sherry butt cask, bottled in 2021. Only 381 bottles released.

Nose – Stewed raisins combine with cured meat notes and ginger spice. Treacle toffee comes to the fore alongside rich baked apple and sweet smoke.

Palate – White pepper gives way to lemon zest and toasted almonds. Roasted coffee beans lead to notes of raspberries.

Finish – A full and long finish with citrus fruits and lingering bonfire embers.
