Introduction

Elegant and smooth, Sherry Cask 43% is a core range Limeburners expression representing the brilliance of Australian Sherry barrels.

This single malt was first matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for 3 to 5 years before being finished in a Sherry cask, imparting flavours of honeycomb, burnt orange and maple sweetness.

Prior to bottling, this expression is hydrated with pure Albany water, to bring it to an approachable 43%.

Handcrafted using traditional methods and copper pot stills, Sherry Cask is a sophisticated single malt that can be appreciated by new and experienced whisky drinkers.

The average age of this product is 5 to 8 years.

Nose – Caramelised lemon tart, grated nutmeg, honeycomb, golden straw

Palate – Burnt orange, maple sweetness, buttery caramel, salted cashew

Finish – Well-rounded, medium to long, hints of allspice
