Old Kempton Distillery Winter Release Single Malt Whisky 500ml (ABV 52%)

Introduction

This single malt is a aged at least 5 years in Australian Tawny casks.

Nose – Classic Australian Tawny aroma with ANZAC biscuits, brown sugar, cinnamon, dates, sultanas, and dried orange peel. There is also some additional complexity with blackberry jam, charred oak, and dried fig.

Palate – A beautiful buttery mouthfeel with charred oak up front giving way to more complex dried fruits, rum and raisin chocolate, and milky coffee.

Finish – A nice warming finish with an abundance of dried fruits soaked in brandy, campfire char, and rich oak.
