Made for over 200 years in Lagavulin Bay, the birthplace of distilling on Islay, Lagavulin is for many the definitive Islay malt; rich, intense and wonderfully smoky, its aromas and tastes infuse the senses with delight.

Full of classic Lagavulin character, this 10 year old from American Oak shows the signature intensity and smokiness, while selected first-fill ex-bourbon casks add a creamy-smooth subtlety and a hint of spiciness.

Nose – Mild and lightly drying. An elusive fruity tang introduces clear, fresh and cleansing top notes, with peat smoke and maritime hints of sea breezes and seaweed.

Palate – Light and smooth. The taste starts sweet and salty, then the heat builds in waves of glorious smoke.

Finish – Smoky with real depth of taste and a warming spiciness
