Introduction

Cask Strength series is an annual celebration of one of Irish Whiskeys greatest traditions. A revival that helps to showcase a style of whiskey from the heart of Irish whiskeys golden era.

Each Cask Strength edition shares the signature triple distilled Single Malt and Single Pot Still whiskey. The exceptional casks used for this annual vintage are hand-selected by The Irishmans founder Bernard Walsh.

Nose – Full of fortitude, depth and body. A complex layered, reawakening of the senses. Green fruits and decadent spices weave together in an intricate yet sophisticated dance.

Palate – After that strong introduction, you’ll meet a surprising mellowness that ripples on the tongue. This is a high strength, that’s for sure, but it doesn’t act like it. The powerful punch is in the myriad of flavours – which are light, sweet and fruity, thanks to its American oak cask maturation. It’s a sweetness that draws you in, and a richness that keeps you close. A subtle nuttiness that slowly builds. A warmth that washes over every notes and invites you to explore.
