Nikka Tailored Premium Blended Japanese Whisky 700ml (ABV 43%)

Introduction

A fabulous Japanese blended whisky from Nikka, Tailored brings together a core of malted barley from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries, along with Coffey still grain whisky! A brilliant balance of sweet fruit and more bitter notes, the distillery suggests enjoying it alongside some dark chocolate, which we reckon sounds rather good.

Nose- Fresh stone fruit, with nectarine and dried apricot supported by waxy peels, touches of pithy citrus and a dusting of cocoa.

Palate- Initially sweet and buttery, with baked custard tarts balanced by orange marmalade and bitter dark chocolate.

Finish- Roasted coffee bean, fresh apple and vanilla pod linger.
