Introduction

OceanX Sharkmaster Bronze SMB521is a high quality watch. It pays tribute to diving watches of the present and the past, but does have keyOceanX elements.

Under the hood you will find an automatic, Japanese SII NH35 movement. The glass is 4.5mm thick scratch resistant sapphire glass (with an AR coating). The impressive 500 meter water resistance of this watch is possible due to the helium valve, that you can see on the side of the case.The uni-directional 120 clicks bezelis made entirely from CuSn8 bronze as welland the watch comeswith a very comfortable rubber strap (127/78mm) with bronze buckle.

The most obvious perk of the watch is the material: it’s entirely made from CuSn8 bronze. Bronze has the great attribute that it builds up a layer of patina. This is an ongoing process which makes every watch unique. Discolouration is normal with this material. One major benefit is that you can largely bring back your watch in the original condition by using a Cape Cod cloth.
