Hemel HFT20 GMT HF4

Introduction

TheHemel HFT20 GMT HF4is an awesome military-inspired Chronograph that takes back to the classicType 20 design, but incorporates it with contemporary materials and design elements. It’s a lovely, sturdy watch that has a lot of wrist presence with it’s 42mm diameter and 49mm lug to lug distance. Under the hood you will find the Seiko VK64 Meca-quartz, which has a smooth chronograph hand, rather than the ticking you’d expect with a quartz movement. A nice reliable, Made in Japan, movement that will keep excellent time.

Speaking of excellent, Hemel has opted for a high level of finishing, but also great materials. The glass is of course sapphire glass, with an AR coating. The bezel has 120-clicks and a typical GMT layout (although it doesn’t have a GMT hand).

All in all the HFT20 oozes the charisma of the older watches, but comes all the perks and benefits of a contemporary watch. A lovely wrist companion!
